"Working face to face with customers in Seville changed how we communicate. Over two months in business, marketing, tourism and hospitality roles, we learned to solve problems in Spanish and English — and to feel at home in Andalusia."

    1The Challenge

Four customer-facing fields — business administration, marketing and sales, tourism, and hospitality — demand placements where students interact with the public from week one. The group needed hosts in Seville willing to give real responsibility to international trainees, plus accommodation and daily support across a two-month stay.

    2The Solution

Piktalent placed each student in a Seville host environment suited to their profile, prioritising roles with genuine customer contact and progressive responsibility. Supported accommodation, airport pick-up, a welcome orientation on transport and daily life, and continuous on-call assistance carried the group through September and October 2026.

Customer-facing placements across business, marketing, tourism and hospitality
Real responsibilities assumed from the first weeks of the mobility

    The Full Story

From September to October 2026, a group of Italian students lived and worked in Seville, Spain, in placements spanning business administration, marketing and sales, tourism, and hospitality and customer experience. These are sectors where learning happens face to face: with clients, guests and colleagues, in Spanish and English.

Two months gave the group time to move well beyond observation. Students took on real responsibilities — supporting sales activity, assisting guests, contributing to marketing tasks — and learned how Spanish workplaces run day to day. Outside working hours, Seville itself became part of the experience: supported local accommodation and the rhythm of Andalusian life helped the group settle in quickly.

Piktalent stayed close throughout: pre-departure preparation, arrival transfers, a structured welcome session, accommodation support and regular check-ins with both students and coordinators. The group returned to Italy with practical skills, more confidence in public-facing roles and a genuine connection to one of Spain's most vibrant cities.
