    Coordinator and participant questions, answered

Which languages can students learn through Piktalent?+

Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, German, Dutch, Greek and English (EFL). Other languages on request, depending on cohort size. Students who want to teach English abroad should look at the dedicated TEFL Courses page.

Are the courses CEFR-aligned and recognised by Erasmus+?+

Yes. All courses map to CEFR A1 → C1, include an end-of-course assessment, and produce a certificate with documented hours and level reached. Certificates are compatible with Europass mobility documents and the OLS framework.

Do you support official exam preparation (DELE, DELF, Goethe, CILS, Cambridge)?+

Yes. We run dedicated prep tracks for DELE (Spanish), DELF/DALF (French), Goethe-Zertifikat (German), CILS (Italian), CAPLE (Portuguese) and Cambridge B2 First / C1 Advanced. Exam centre fees are paid directly to the official centre.

How much do language courses cost?+

Group online courses start from around €120 for a 20-hour block. On-site intensive courses range €250–€600 depending on city and duration. Cohort programs are quoted per participant — request a quote for exact pricing.

Can pre-departure courses lift OLS scores?+

In our cohorts the typical uplift is one CEFR sub-level (e.g. A2 → A2+/B1) between the OLS pre-test and post-test, when the participant completes a 40-hour pre-departure course plus a one-week on-site intensive on arrival.

Do coordinators get reporting on the cohort?+

Yes. Each cohort engagement comes with a single dashboard showing attendance, level progression and certificate status per participant — designed to plug into your KA131 / KA171 / KA171-VET final report.

Can a student take a course while already on mobility?+

Yes. We run live evening classes in CET and CET+1 time zones specifically for students already on placement, plus 1-to-1 private tuition with full schedule flexibility.

I want to teach English abroad — should I take a Language Course?+

No, you should take our TEFL Course. Language Courses teach you a foreign language; the TEFL Course (120-hour accredited) trains you to teach English. See the dedicated TEFL Courses page for details.

    Context
A Polish VET institute sent 28 students to Lisbon and Sevilla and needed to lift OLS scores by one sub-level before arrival.

    Scenario 2

Italian university — DELE B2 prep + Spanish workplace track

    Context
Bologna-based university wanted DELE B2 preparation plus a workplace Spanish track for 14 outgoing trainees in tech and marketing roles.
    Approach
60-hour DELE prep over 8 weeks + 20-hour workplace vocabulary block aligned to the host-company sector matrix.
    Outcome
12 of 14 trainees passed DELE B2 at first attempt; 13 of 14 reported confident workplace integration in week one.
    Decision framework

Language courses vs full mobility programs

Standalone language courses are the right track when language preparation is the only gap. If you also need placements, accommodation, insurance and reporting, our full Mobility Program bundles everything into a single quote. To teach English abroad, see TEFL Courses.
