"One month in Copenhagen taught us how much you can grow in a short time abroad. Between IT teams, tourism services and design studios, we experienced Scandinavian work culture first-hand — and explored a city that runs on bicycles."

    1The Challenge

A short, one-month mobility leaves no room for slow starts. The group needed Copenhagen placements in three distinct sectors — information technology, tourism, and graphic design and communication — that could deliver meaningful experience in just four weeks, plus accommodation, transport and daily support for the entire group.

    2The Solution

Piktalent designed the September 2026 mobility as an intensive block: sector-specific host matching agreed before arrival, shared accommodation, airport transfers, a structured welcome orientation and weekly mentoring check-ins so every week of the short stay counted.

    The Full Story

During September 2026, a group of Italian students spent one intensive month in Copenhagen, Denmark, on an Erasmus+ internship experience. Placements ran across information technology, tourism, and graphic design and communication — three sectors where the Danish capital has an international reputation.

Copenhagen offered the group a distinct working culture: flat hierarchies, trust-based teams and a strong design sensibility. Students worked alongside local professionals, contributed to real projects from their first week and adapted quickly to a Scandinavian professional environment.

Outside the placements, the group discovered a city built for cycling, with harbour baths, design districts and historic streets — most experienced everyday life in Copenhagen on two wheels. Piktalent supported the mobility end to end, from pre-departure preparation and travel logistics to welcome sessions and ongoing mentoring throughout the month.
