Job Description

The English Teaching Assistant will support lead instructors in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in lesson planning and preparation for classes.
• Providing individualized support to students during lessons and activities.
• Facilitating conversation practice and language immersion opportunities.
• Grading assignments and providing constructive feedback to students.
• Contributing to the development of supplementary materials and resources.
• Helping to organize cultural events and engagement activities.
• Maintaining an encouraging classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.

Job Requirements

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• At least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Experience in teaching or tutoring English as a second language is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Passion for language education and cultural exchange.
• Basic proficiency in Portuguese is advantageous.
