Tasks Description

• Assist lead teachers in teaching English as a second language to students of various ages and proficiency levels.
• Prepare engaging lesson materials and activities that promote language skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
• Conduct small group and one-on-one tutoring sessions to support individual student needs.
• Support classroom management and foster a positive learning environment.
• Provide feedback on student progress and participate in assessments.
• Organize and participate in extracurricular language activities and cultural events.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement lesson plans and improve teaching strategies.
• Contribute to administrative tasks such as grading, record-keeping, and reporting.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Prior experience in teaching or tutoring English as a second language is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students effectively.
• Creative and adaptable teaching approach to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus but not mandatory.
