Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dynamic Education/Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for assisting in the educational and social development of pupils under the supervision and guidance of the class teacher.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of lessons under the guidance of a class teacher.
  • Help the students in learning activities like reading, writing, science experiments, etc.
  • Support students with educational and social development and foster their self-esteem.
  • Facilitate the classroom teacher in maintaining student records.
  • Take part in school meetings and training programs.
  • Oversee and monitor students during non-classroom activities like lunch and field trips.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is desirable.
  • Previous experience as an education assistant or a similar role is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in Italian and English.
  • Demonstrate a patient and resilient personality.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with the pupils, being a positive role model.
  • Creative, with an ability to assist in planning educational activities.
