Job Title: Education / Teaching Assistant
Tasks Description
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons, preparing educational materials, and organizing classroom resources.
- Support students with varying learning needs, including providing additional guidance and encouragement during activities.
- Monitor student progress and engagement, communicating observations and concerns to the teaching staff.
- Facilitate small group or one-on-one tutoring sessions to reinforce lesson content.
- Help maintain a safe and positive classroom environment, promoting respect and empathy among students.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events to foster community relationships.
- Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) as needed.
Job Requirements
- Background in education or relevant experience in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Fluency in Italian and English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting student development.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations or student needs.
- Basic knowledge of child development and special education practices.
