Position: Education / Teaching Assistant
Tasks Description
- Assist teachers in planning and implementing engaging lesson plans that meet students' diverse learning needs.
- Support students in classroom activities, providing individual attention to enhance their understanding of subjects.
- Supervise students during breaks and extracurricular activities, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
- Conduct small group teaching sessions to reinforce classroom learning objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and assist in compiling reports as required.
- Help in creating educational materials and resources to facilitate effective learning.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop strategies that accommodate various learning styles and special needs.
Job Requirements
- Minimum qualification of a high school diploma, with a preference for a degree in education or child development.
- Experience in a teaching or educational support role is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
- Organization and time management skills to handle classroom tasks efficiently.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is highly regarded.
