Job Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons to students across various subjects.
  • Support students with special educational needs, tailoring assistance to their individual learning requirements.
  • Supervise students during class activities, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Help prepare educational materials, resources, and classroom displays to enhance the learning experience.
  • Provide one-on-one and group tutoring to students needing extra support in their studies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and caregivers.
  • Participate in school events and activities, contributing to a positive school community.

Personal and Job Requirements

  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
  • A degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Knowledge of educational technologies and supportive learning tools is an advantage.
