We seek a dedicated and passionate Education/Teaching Assistant to support our team of educators in facilitating effective learning for our students. As a teaching assistant, you will work under the supervision of our teachers and play a significant role in the planning and delivery of lessons. Other responsibilities would include supporting students with educational activities, aiding teachers in managing class behavior, and getting involved in school events – all to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
- Providing academic and administrative support to teachers.
- Liaising with parents, teachers, and school administrators as needed.
- Assisting with planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons.
- Supporting students with educational activities.
- Maintaining records of students' progress and development.
- Helping in promoting positive student behavior.
- Participating in school events and activities.
- A bachelor’s degree in relevant field – education or child psychology preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Spanish.
- Understanding and empathy towards children’s needs.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; proactive, reliable, and design-minded.
