An accredited Language School in the heart of Palma de Mallorca, Spain is eagerly seeking a German Teaching Assistant to be a part of our multi-cultural team. Job Description

The chosen candidate will work alongside our world-class educators to help facilitate learning and strengthen comprehension of the German language for our diverse student body. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in teaching Beginner to Advanced level German as a foreign language to a diverse age range of students.
• Preparing lesson aids and exercises customized to each student’s strengths and weaknesses
• Assisting with proficiency testing and aiding in grading examinations
• Providing constructive feedback and guidance to students on their progress
• Participating in staff meetings and curriculum development sessions
• Contributing to extracurricular activities and cultural immersion trips

Job Requirements

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in German Language Studies or a related field
• At least one year of experience in teaching or a similar setting
• Proficiency in German (C2 level) and English
• Experience working with diverse age groups
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills
• Experience living in a German-speaking country is a plus
