Job Vacancy: English Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team at a prestigious language school in Madrid, Spain. Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assist lead teachers in delivering engaging English language lessons, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
  • Facilitate small group activities and one-on-one sessions to support student learning and practice.
  • Prepare teaching materials and assist with lesson planning, ensuring content is engaging and appropriate for various age groups and proficiency levels.
  • Conduct language games, activities, and cultural immersion sessions to enhance language acquisition and understanding of English-speaking cultures.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to help individuals achieve their language goals.
  • Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns regarding the learning experience.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development workshops to continually improve teaching methods and practices.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in teaching or assisting in language instruction is preferred.
  • Excellent command of English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for teaching and cultural exchange.
  • TEFL/TESOL certification is a plus.
