Our established language school located in the beautiful Lanzarote, Spain, is looking for a dedicated English Teaching Assistant to join our passionate team of educators. We offer a variety of classes catering to an international roster of students at different proficiency levels. We are renowned for our comprehensive and tailored teaching methods, curating engaging lesson plans that cater to the individual learning styles of our students.

Job Description

As an English Teaching Assistant, you will support our head instructors in providing high-quality instruction to our students. Your primary duties will include:

Supporting the design and implementation of engaging lesson plans.
Supporting the head instructors during teaching sessions.
Providing additional help to students during their learning process.
Conducting assessments to measure student progress.
Taking part in teaching workshops and staff meetings.
Providing feedback to the teachers and educating teams on individual student's progress.

Job Requirements

To be eligible for this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a similar field.
Certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), or similar is required.
Previous experience in an educational setting is preferred.
Proficiency in Spanish is an asset.
