Job Description

As an English Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities include assisting the primary teacher in managing English language classes, developing interactive and engaging lesson plans, providing support in language labs, and conducting language practice sessions. You will work closely with students, addressing individual linguistic challenges and facilitating their participation in group learning activities. Additionally, you will play a vital role in teaching and promoting cross-cultural understanding as part of our language programs.

Job Requirements

For this role, we are looking for a bachelor’s degree in English, Education or a related field. A TEFL/TESOL certification is a plus. Prior teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory. The candidate must be proficient in English, both written and spoken, with a good command over phonetics and grammar rules. Being fluent in Spanish is a plus.

Personal Requirements

We desire a self-motivated individual who has a passion for language education and cultural exchange. Exceptional organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are necessary. You must mentor students and engage them in interactive sessions. Patience and empathy, a multi-cultural easier to understand approach, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a differing curriculum and student needs are paramount.
