Job Description

We are currently in search of a Spanish Teaching Assistant who will provide support to our teachers, facilitate learning for our international students, and help in managing classroom activities.

Main Tasks

  • Assist teachers in creating lesson plans and preparing teaching materials.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
  • Help in maintaining a well-organised, orderly and safe environment for students.
  • Monitor students to ensure they are actively participating and understanding their courses.
  • Maintain records of student's progress and attendance.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development seminars.

Job Requirements

  • Native or C2 Spanish proficiency.
  • A minimum of a university degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, Linguistics, or other relevant field.
  • Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or a teacher.
  • A demonstrable understanding of different teaching methodologies.
  • Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about teaching and have a genuine fascination with different cultures.
