English Teaching Assistant Vacancy at a Languages School in Fuerteventura, Spain

We are an internationally recognised language school, known for our commitment in providing quality language education and our dedication in enriching the lives of students through language enhancement and cultural immersion. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of an English Teaching Assistant.

About Fuerteventura

Fuerteventura, a Spanish island, is one of the Canary Islands, in the Atlantic Ocean and is part of the North Africa region, politically. Tasks and Responsibilities

Assist lead teacher in the implementation of instructional lesson plans.
Create an engaging, learner-friendly classroom environment.
Provide support to students in improving their English language skills - listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Maintain and update student records including their progress.
Participate in school community events, meetings, and professional development.

Job Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree within a relevant field. TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification will be considered as a plus.
Minimum of one-year teaching experience with adults and/or young learners.
Native level English speaker.
Working knowledge of Spanish will be a strong advantage.
Professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility.
Authorization to work in Spain.
