Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic English Teaching Assistant to support our team in ensuring our students receive the highest quality language education. You will underpin the daily classroom and administrative work, support course preparation, teaching content development, and student engagement activities.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the teacher in implementing lesson plans and teaching aids.
• Providing individual assistance to students as needed during lessons for a deeper understanding of the material.
• Attending staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on teaching methods, curriculum changes, and school policies.
• Assisting in maintaining student records, documenting behavior, learning progress, and improvement areas.
• Coordinating classroom activities and educational games to enhance student engagement and learning.

Job Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in English, Education, or a related field. TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate is a plus.
• Previous experience in an English teaching or tutoring role.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using technology as an instructional tool.
• Respect for the cultural differences and individual learning pace of students.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage but not mandatory.
