Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead teachers in planning and delivering English language lessons that are engaging and effective.
  • Support students in their learning journey by providing one-on-one and small group assistance.
  • Facilitate language practice sessions, including conversation clubs and language workshops.
  • Help prepare educational materials and resources to enhance the learning experience.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
  • Participate in school activities and events that promote language learning and cultural awareness.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the school.

Job and Personal Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Strong command of the English language; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
  • Previous experience in teaching or tutoring is desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students.
