Job Description

The Educational / Teaching Assistant is expected to work closely with teaching staff, assisting in the planning and implementation of daily teaching plans. This role demands high levels of interaction and engagement with students, ensuring the promotion of a supportive and productive learning environment that caters to various learning needs. Moreover, the Educational / Teaching Assistant will be assisting during traditional classes, monitoring examinations, supporting students with special needs, and supervising students' behavior during recess. This position is essential in helping students grasp lesson material and ensuring the smooth running of the school facilities.

Key Tasks

- Assisting teaching staff with lesson preparation and implementation.
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive educational environment.
- Providing appropriate feedback and educational support to students.
- Taking part in school activities and events.
- Supporting students with special education needs.

Job Requirements

A suitable candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in education or related field. Essential requirements include fluency in English and Portuguese, ready to work with diversity, exhibiting excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in education or a related field is favourable.
