Education / Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Education/Teaching Assistant to work within the friendly and supportive environment of our school. You will work closely with our dedicated team of educators in delivering an outstanding education to our students.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting teachers in planning and implementing educational activities.
  • Assisting students, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning concepts.
  • Observing students’ performance, and recording relevant data to assess students' progress.
  • Helping manage student behaviour in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures
  • Being aware of, and responding to, specific needs of students
  • Contributing to the preparation and development of teaching materials, teaching programs, methods of teaching and assessment and pastoral arrangements.

Job Requirements

  • A degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience as a teacher assistant or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of classroom activities and teaching methods.
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices and modern methods of education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
