Job Description

The successful candidate is expected to assist in teaching English to a diverse range of students, with varying levels of English proficiency. The job scope includes facilitating language lessons, preparing educational materials, conducting interactive learning activities, providing academic support, and assisting in the planning stages of curriculums and teaching strategies. This role also requires close collaboration with other faculty members in maintaining a productive and supportive learning environment.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in English, Education, Linguistics or a related field and a TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification. It is essential for the candidate to have a minimum of two years' experience teaching English as a second language. Experience teaching in a multicultural environment and familiarity with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) are desirable. Proficiency in Portuguese is advantageous but not required.
