The successful candidate is expected to assist in teaching English to a diverse range of students, with varying levels of English proficiency. This role also requires close collaboration with other faculty members in maintaining a productive and supportive learning environment.
The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in English, Education, Linguistics or a related field and a TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification. It is essential for the candidate to have a minimum of two years' experience teaching English as a second language. Experience teaching in a multicultural environment and familiarity with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) are desirable. Proficiency in Portuguese is advantageous but not required.
