Job Description

The role of the Education/Teaching Assistant will involve:

  • Assisting the lead teacher with the implementation of the curriculum.
  • Supporting students individually and in groups to reinforce the learning concepts presented by the teachers.
  • Preparing materials and classrooms for classroom activities.
  • Observing students' performance and providing the teacher with feedback.
  • Managing student behavior in accordance with the outlined policies.
  • Participating in school meetings and training workshops.
  • Incorporating educational programs that engage students and stimulate learning.

Job Requirements

The potential candidate must have the following qualifications:

  • Degree in Education or any related field.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in the same or related-role.
  • High proficiency in English and Portuguese.
  • Basic knowledge in using Microsoft Office Suite and similar technology for educational use.
  • Experience in managing students in a classroom setting.
