Job Description:

As an intern in Reception/Reservations, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. Your main responsibilities will include handling the front office reception, managing reservations, greeting and directing visitors, answering and managing incoming calls, and providing information accordingly. Moreover, you will be tasked to manage office supplies, schedule meetings and appointments, maintaining records of visitors, and performing basic bookkeeping and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and handle the flow of people in and out of the organization.
  • Answer calls professionally and redirect them accordingly when required.
  • Manage and control room reservations and bookings.
  • Responsible for general administrative tasks including photocopying, faxing, mail distribution, and filing.
  • Coordinating appointments and meetings and managing staff calendars and schedules.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must be enrolled in a degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a customer service role is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are prerequisites.
