Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated English Teaching Assistant. As a crucial part of our teaching team, you will assist in creating an engaging, inclusive, and progressive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting lead teachers in lesson planning, delivering exciting and informative lessons, grading assignments, monitoring student progress, and providing individual support to students when necessary.

Tasks:

  • Assist lead teachers in planning lessons suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced learners.
  • Deliver engaging, student-centred English lessons.
  • Assist in grading assignments and exams.
  • Track students' progress, identify areas for improvement, and provide activities for reinforcement.
  • Provide individual support to students as needed, fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree related to English or Education, have a recognised TEFL/TESOL certificate, and at least one year experience as an English language teacher.

Personal Requirements:

Demonstrable passion for teaching, cultural sensitivity, strong verbal and written communication skills in English, and the ability to work collaboratively with both the teaching team and students alike.
