Job Overview:

Our language school, renowned for its modern teaching methods and technology focussed language learning experience, is currently seeking a proficient English Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will join our team of skilled educators and contribute to high-quality English instruction in our school. This is a full-time position.

Tasks:

- Assist lead English instructors in creating and implementing lesson plans
- Facilitate group activities and discussions that encourage English language use
- Offer individualized instruction to students, analyzing their needs and improving their language skills
- Provide feedback on students' progress and assist in the development of report cards
- Contribute to the creation and delivery of school events and programs
- Participate in staff meetings, teacher-training programs, and other school activities

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related fields
- TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certification
- Minimum 1 year of English teaching experience, preferably in a similar classroom setting
- Excellent command of English, both written and oral
- Knowledge of a second language, preferably Portuguese, is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of various teaching methodologies and differentiation techniques
