Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Education/Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be assisting the classroom teacher in the effective delivery of the school curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting the classroom teacher in preparing and organising teaching resources.
  • Serving as a role model and providing academic support to students under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
  • Supporting the individual educational needs of students and helping them reach their full potential.
  • Assisting in supervising class activities, field trips, and other school events.
  • Maintaining records of student attendance, grades, and behaviour under the direction of the classroom teacher.
  • Providing essential support during exams and assessments.
  • Supporting the well-being and safety of the students within the classroom and school environment.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
  • Experience in an educational environment is desirable, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with teachers, management, parents and students.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
