Job Description

The internship opportunity involves tasks related to the Reception and Reservations department. Duties include – but are not limited to – handling phone, online, and in-person room reservations, managing customer inquiries and complaints, maintaining up-to-date knowledge about room rates and promotions, assisting with check-in and checkout procedures, and maintaining a clean and tidy front desk area.

Additionally, the intern will liaise with various departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guests' requirements are catered to promptly and efficiently. They will also assist with administrative tasks as required.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills and be detail-oriented. Fluency in English and Portuguese is required, and knowledge of any additional languages is advantageous. Proficiency in using reservation software and Microsoft Office applications is also necessary. Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role will be considered a plus, although not compulsory as training will be provided.

Personal Requirements

We are looking for a proactive, team-oriented individual who is adaptable and possesses strong problem-solving abilities. The intern should be able to work independently and handle pressure well, especially during peak periods. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills are a must.
