Internship Vacancy: Reception / Reservations

We are currently looking for a talented and motivated individual for an internship position in Reception/Reservations at our Braga, Portugal location.

Tasks Description

The successful intern will gain on-the-job experience and training in the following areas:

• Welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, and attending to guest needs.
• Taking, managing, and tracking reservation bookings across multiple channels.
• Operating reservation systems and maintaining updated data on room availability.
• Handling customer complaints and queries effectively and efficiently.
• Assisting in coordinating front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and rerouting calls.
• Collaborating with different departments to ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Job and Personal Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Event Management, or a comparable field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and remain detail-oriented.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese; proficiency in another language is a plus.
• Exemplary customer service skills and the ability to handle stressful situations with grace.
• Familiarity with office and reservation systems, including MS office and booking software.
