ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Our collaborator organizes many types of regular and special events for the international community in Malta since 2014! Their mission is helping people to connect, have fun and grow!grow. As one of the leading names in Malta’s events industry, they bring energy, passion, and dynamism while maintaining a reputation for being organised, reliable, and effective. Their team is international, young, open-minded, and friendly, fostering a welcoming environment for all.
Tasks
The internship consists of two key areas: Event Operations (the on-site action during events) and Lateral Projects (the behind-the-scenes work). Below is a list of the primary responsibilities (though additional tasks may be added or adjusted as needed).
Event Operations:
- Setting up and closing down materials before and after the event.
- Welcoming guests, managing registration, data collection, and payments.
- Introducing guests and matching them in social groups using our connection formula.
- Capturing event photos and videos, creating engaging stories for social media (you could even become a face of the brand, embodying and showcasing our values).
- Coordinating special activities like games, karaoke, and competitions.
- Supporting and leading our excursions.
- Coordinating, managing, supporting, and training the team.
- Resolving issues with guests, venues, and partners, including reporting and assessment.
Lateral Projects (assigned based on the company’s needs, as well as your skills and preferences)
- Content Marketing: reels and stories creation, organising, choosing, editing and scheduling content for our social media, performance analysis, drone and camera management.
- Creative: artworks creation (e.g. event covers, fliers, info sheets), copywriting (e.g.text for events).
- Partners: Meeting partners, communication, presentation B2B, finding new collaborators.
- Communication: answering emails, messages, comments in social media, whatsapp groups, FB groups management, community management.
- IT & Digital Marketing: website management & updates, SEO, Google & Meta ads, newsletter.
- New events and projects: planning and coordinating new events, projects, policies, systems, guidelines.
*LEADERSHIP ROLES: For highly motivated and capable interns, there may be an opportunity to step into an Event Team Leader and/or Department Leader role after gaining sufficient experience. This unique opportunity, (despite still being supported by your mentor in a supervised environment), allows you to develop real managerial and project management skills through delegation and instructing junior interns—tremendously enhancing your professional growth.
Requirements

- English level of at least B2, preferably.
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Previous experience in content creation, social Media, Canva, meta business suit is a plus.
Conditions
CONDITIONS:
- LENGTH: Able to commit for at least 3-4 months, preferably 5-6 months or more (priority is given to candidates with longer commitments).
- WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week, divided approximately as 20 hours at events (around 4 days per week on average) and 20 hours on lateral projects. This distribution is flexible and may be rebalanced as needed.
- FLEXIBILITY: Flexible rotating schedule, which may include some Saturdays and Sundays.
- EVENT OPERATIONS: Held at our event venues, primarily in the central areas of Malta (Sliema and St. Julian’s), typically in the evening (approx. 19:00-23:00) apart from excursions.
- LATERAL PROJECTS: Generally coordinated remotely and scheduled in the morning or afternoon.
- ADAPTABILITY: Willingness to embrace a high level of flexibility and adaptability (a key element in the dynamic event industry).
- UNPAID INTERNSHIP: Most of our interns apply for an Erasmus scholarship (or equivalent) through their university or use personal funds to undertake this learning experience.
