Position Description

The educational teaching assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our educators and enriching our students’ learning experience. You will assist in lesson plan execution, monitor student progress, and create an engaging educational environment that promotes inclusivity and stimulates learning.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Assisting teachers in the preparation and delivery of lessons
- Supervising and managing classroom behavior during lessons and breaks
- Providing one-on-one assistance to students in need of additional support
- Mentoring students and fostering an engaging learning environment
- Managing teaching resources and maintaining a clean classroom
- Participating in parent-teacher meetings and school events as required

Job Requirements

- A degree in Education or a field related to the subject you will be teaching
- A Teaching Assistant certification will be advantageous
- At least 2 years of experience in a teaching assistant role
- Fluency in Italian and English, both written and spoken
- Sound understanding of child development and learning techniques
- Ability to work with children of different skill levels and diverse backgrounds
- Excellent organizational, communication, and conflict resolution skills
