Job Description

The Education/Teaching Assistant will be expected to provide support in classroom sessions, facilitating learning and helping the students to remain focused. This includes assisting with planning and preparation of lessons, managing classroom resources, and ensuring the learning environment is kept vibrant, motivating, and organized. The Education/Teaching Assistant will help manage student behaviour, encourage broader participation, and support those with individual learning needs. Key tasks will also include liaising with parents/caregivers and teachers, evaluating student progress, and participating in staff meetings and professional development events.

Job Requirements

The candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a field relevant to the curriculum. Prior experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role within a school environment is highly desirable. Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory, any additional language is a plus. Computer literacy and familiarity with educational software are vital. The candidate will demonstrate an understanding of child safety regulations and possess the physical stamina to work with young children.
