Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teaching Assistant to join our educational team. The English Teaching Assistant will be responsible for working alongside the lead English teacher to develop and ensure the effective delivery of high-quality language instruction.

Tasks will include:

  • Assisting the lead teacher in planning and delivering well-structured lessons.
  • Supporting the development of student's English language skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening).
  • Preparing classroom materials and assisting with classroom management.
  • Maintaining accurate student records and attending departmental meetings.
  • Supporting students in using additional learning resources.

Job Requirements

Applicants for the English Teaching Assistant position should meet the following criteria:

  • A bachelor's degree in English language teaching, education, linguistics or a related field.
  • TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification (preferable).
  • Previous experience as a teaching assistant or a role in education.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Basic knowledge of Italian language is considered a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, commitment, and passion for teaching.
