English Teaching Assistant - Languages School, Florence, Italy
We are a well-established, competitive language learning institution located in the beautiful, history-rich city of Florence, Italy. We pride ourselves in providing top-notch language education, immersing our students in an environment that promotes cultural understanding, while enhancing their English language skills. To serve our students better, we are seeking to recruit a dedicated English Teaching Assistant.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the head English teacher in developing comprehensive lesson plans.
- Offer tutoring and additional instruction to students encountering difficulties in their coursework.
- Help in conducting interactive learning sessions to encourage student participation and language practice.
- Perform administrative duties such as tracking attendance and grades, photocopying materials, maintaining classroom tidiness.
- Participate in school events and propose extracurricular activities that enhance the learning experience.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA Certification is highly desirable.
- Prior experience working as an English Teacher or Assistant in a language school setting.
- Proficient use of ICT for instructional purposes.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Passion for language education and a keen interest in different cultures.
- Patient, empathetic individual with a positive attitude.
- Available to work evenings and weekends as required.
