Our collaborator is a global platform dedicated to inspiring, guiding, and connecting expats, digital nomads, and travelers with authentic experiences and a fulfilling life abroad. Through insightful guides, travel tips, relocation advice, and wellness-focused content, it helps its audience embrace a mindful and enriching global lifestyle.

It is currently looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to support the growth and engagement of its online community across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for someone passionate about content creation, storytelling, and global living, offering a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and social media strategy.

Tasks

• Create and schedule engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and TikTok.
• Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns focused on expat life, travel, and digital nomad culture.
• Engage with our community—reply to comments, messages, and interact with followers.
• Research and implement trending hashtags, formats, and content ideas that align with our brand.
• Analyze social media insights and performance to optimize content strategy.
• Assist in creating short-form video content, reels, and stories.
• Collaborate with the content team to promote blog posts, newsletters, and brand partnerships.

Requirements

• Passion for expat life, travel, global cultures, and social media trends.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest algorithms.
• Basic knowledge of social media scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Buffer, Hootsuite).
• Creative mindset with a knack for storytelling, captions, and visual aesthetics.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Spark, or similar design tools is a plus.
• Video editing skills (for reels & TikToks) are a bonus.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and think strategically
