Job Description

Our collaborator is a dynamic organization dedicated to promoting inclusivity and empowerment within the boating industry. Through its conference, podcast, mentorship program, and magazine, the company works to drive positive change and elevate voices within the maritime community. The organization offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in media, communications, and business development, particularly focused on equality and maritime topics.

Tasks

  • Assist with planning, drafting, and publishing content for the magazine, podcast, website, and social media.

  • Research and identify potential partners, sponsors, and collaborators in the maritime sector.

  • Support outreach, communication, and relationship management with existing and prospective partners.

  • Help coordinate cross-promotional activities and campaigns.

  • Contribute to post-event engagement, including follow-up communications and resource distribution.

  • Monitor and report on partnership and content performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English required; additional languages a plus).

  • Interest in media, communications, event management, or business development.

  • Ability to conduct research and synthesize findings clearly.

  • Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.

  • Comfortable working independently and remotely.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms (especially Instagram and LinkedIn).

  • Bonus: Interest or experience in the boating industry.
