Paid Sailing and Tourism Internship as Assistant Sailboat Captain in a Sailing Company in Barcelona, Spain

Our collaborator is a company specialised in sailing experiences and nautical tourism, offering customers the opportunity to enjoy the sea through organised sailboat trips. They are looking for a dynamic, responsible and customer-oriented intern to assist the Captain during sailing activities and help provide guests with an excellent experience on board.

Tareas

• Accompany and assist the Captain during sailing trips.
• Prepare the sailboat before customers arrive.
• Welcome customers and assist them during boarding.
• Prepare and serve tapas, drinks and snacks on board.
• Support the Captain with small operational tasks during navigation.
• Assist with the preparation of equipment and materials before each departure.
• Help organise and collect equipment after each sailing trip.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service throughout the experience.
• Support the team with general tasks related to the daily operation of the sailing activities.

Requisitos

• Good level of English.
• Good level of Spanish.
• French would be highly valued.
• No previous sailing experience is required.
• Strong motivation and willingness to learn.
• Friendly, positive and customer-oriented attitude.
• Responsible, proactive and reliable personality.
• Comfortable interacting with customers from different countries.
• Interest in the sea, sailing, tourism and nautical activities.
• Availability to start as soon as possible.

Condiciones

• Monthly remuneration of €200.
• Opportunity to learn about sailing and nautical activities directly alongside an experienced Captain.

Availability and hours

• 40 hours per week.
