Paid Sales Internship in Barcelona (Italian Speakers)

Job Description

Our collaborator is a leading yacht charter agency founded in 1995, connecting customers looking for sailing holidays with boat rental companies worldwide. Offering a catalogue of approximately 18,000 boats, including sailing boats, catamarans, motor yachts and houseboats, our partner operates in numerous destinations such as France, Croatia, Greece, Italy and the Caribbean. With over 150,000 customers having enjoyed sailing holidays through its services since its establishment, the company has become a recognised player in the European yacht charter market.

Through a gradual integration into the sales team operating from the Barcelona office, the candidate's main mission will involve advising customers, mainly by telephone, who submit requests through the company's website, helping them find the most suitable boats and completing bookings.

Tasks

• Understanding customer requests and identifying their needs and expectations.
• Searching for boats corresponding to customers' requirements.
• Preparing and sending quotations.
• Providing sales advice and negotiating to complete bookings.
• Negotiating with partner charter companies when necessary.
• Providing customer support throughout the booking and chartering process.
• Managing existing bookings and handling customer complaints.
• Developing knowledge of boats, destinations and the yacht charter industry through ongoing training.

Requirements

Essential qualities: professionalism, attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills, willingness to learn and strong commercial motivation.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Languages, Tourism, Economics or Business.
• Fluent Italian and English is mandatory.
• French is a plus.
• Availability from the beginning of July until the end of December 2027 (6 months).

Conditions

• Remuneration between € 700 -1,000 monthly.
• 40 hours/week.
• Possibility of employment contract.
