L2 / L3 Server Technician

Job Description

A server technician's responsibilities include installing and configuring operating systems and software, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining and configuring servers. They also monitor server environments, perform repairs, and ensure high availability and performance. Additionally, they may design computer test stations, racks, and cable management systems to improve productivity. Some server technicians also develop and sell industrial control systems, IVR telephone systems, and desktop computer systems.
