Job Description
Based in Paris and Berlin, our collaborator stands at the forefront of auteur cinema as an international distributor and producer of bold, award-winning films. The company’s founder has collaborated with prominent and pioneering directors from the earliest stages of their careers. He has produced over forty films to date, the majority of which were selected for the main competitions at the Cannes, Venice, and Berlin film festivals. They received major prizes, including the Venice Golden Lion and Palme d’Ors.

They are looking for a globally minded and result-oriented colleague, with organisational skills and an avid interest in culture, to complete their team of thirty people working in a dynamic and international environment. You will assist the team and founder in the Berlin Office.
Tasks
- Support the team (from onboarding of newcomers to ensuring a pleasant working atmosphere).
- Assist the CEO as required.
- Maintain and improve IT infrastructure in collaboration with advisors and suppliers.
- Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that the office and adjacent office facilities are operating smoothly.
- Manage the office budget and supplies and take care of everyday groceries.
- Manage keys inventory.
- Allocate incoming phone calls, mails and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail.
- Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements, and design and implement new systems.
- Take care of the design of the office and of the company’s spaces and apartments.
- Be the point of contact for suppliers (including property management, service providers, cleaning staff, technicians, hausmeister…) and occasionally guests and collaborators (directors, editors, etc..)
- Update databases, archives and servers.
Requirements
- Native or fully fluent English-speaker with excellent command of German. Other languages are a plus.
- Detail-oriented and deadline-focused.
- Creative and able to think outside the box.
- Experienced in the cultural industries (a plus).
- Flexible and proactive.

- Monthly salary of 2000 euros (before taxes).
