Job Description

As our Furniture Maker Intern, you're expected to assist in creating bespoke pieces using both power and hand tools. Your tasks include but are not limited to;

• Assist with the design process, from initial sketches through to the final product
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools efficiently and safely
• Work alongside the team to ensure the functional and aesthetic objectives of each piece are met
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the workplace, tools and equipment
• Furthering your knowledge on different types of wood, their characteristics and best uses

Personal And Job Requirements

The ideal candidate should be passionate about furniture making, with strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. You should be capable of working well in a team and willing to learn new techniques and processes.

• Currently studying or recent graduate in a relevant field (Furniture Design, Craftsmanship, Carpentry, etc.)
• Good understanding of woodworking tools and machinery
• A keen eye for design and detail
• Able to follow instructions and effectively manage time
• Must adhere to health and safety regulations
