Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven Intern to join our Biology Department for a duration of 6 months, based in vibrant Manchester, United Kingdom.

Tasks Description

As a Biology Intern, you will be responsible for supporting ongoing projects under the supervision of experienced scientists. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Assisting in laboratory operations and bio-sample management.
  • Performing cell culture and molecular biology experiments including PCR, western blotting and cell-based assays.
  • Participating in team meetings and presenting your research findings.
  • Analyzing, interpreting, and reporting scientific data.
  • Maintaining current, accurate, and detailed records of all work and results.
  • Job Requirements

    Ideal candidates must be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Biotechnology, Biology or related field. Familiarity with basic molecular biology lab techniques and a strong commitment to safety is essential. Knowledge of Lab Information Management Systems (LIMS) and a commitment to adhering to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) is preferable.
