Internship Role: Furniture Design Intern
We’re looking to welcome an intern with an eye for design and a passion for the craft. This highly engaging role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to our dynamic design process and the creation of beautiful, practical furniture pieces for homes and businesses across the globe.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and development process of new furniture pieces.
- Assist in material selection and sourcing.
- Create detailed sketches and CAD drawings for proposed designs.
- Contribute innovative solutions to design challenges.
- Partake in client consultations with design team.
- Ensure all designs adhere to safety and quality standards.
Key Requirements
- Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Furniture Design, Product Design, or similar fields.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar 3D design software.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
- Passionate about sustainable design and knowledge of current design trends.
