Internship Opportunity: Civil Engineering, Durham, United Kingdom

Our illustrious civil engineering company, known for its innovative structures and solutions around the globe, is currently seeking an ambitious Civil Engineering Intern to join our team in the historical and beautiful city of Durham, United Kingdom.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

The chosen intern will be involved in a variety of tasks and projects, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting in the design and development of infrastructure projects.
  • Conducting research and analysis on civil engineering assignments.
  • Contributing to the preparation of engineering documents, reports and drawings.
  • Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers to execute project goals.
  • Participating in site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong academic performance with an understanding of civil engineering concepts and practices.
  • Excellent computing skills, particularly with CAD software.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team setting.

  • Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Possess a focused attention to detail and high level of accuracy for report writing and document checking.
  • Are able to legally work in the UK.
