Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced team of industrial engineers in designing and implementing manufacturing processes, while also optimising operations. Key tasks include statistical analysis, simulation modeling, time studies, line balancing, work cell design, and facility layout. The post also involves significant collaboration, as the intern will partner with multidisciplinary teams to implement operational efficiency improvements, safety enhancements, and cost-reduction projects.

Job Requirements

Please note that this position is only available to candidates that can prove they are currently studying towards or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or a similar field. Familiarity with CAD software, Six Sigma methods and Lean Management Principles is beneficial, as is a basic understanding of ergonomics and workstation design.

Highly analytical and detail-oriented, the successful candidate will bring an ability to evaluate system performance, identify improvement potentials and create meaningful reports. Excellent problem-solving skills are essential, coupled with the capability to work efficiently in a team. Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities round out the ideal profile.
