Under supervision, the intern will participate in essential Electrical Engineering tasks. Responsibilities include designing, maintaining and improving electrical instruments and systems; complying with safety regulations; managing electrical projects; performing installation safety tests and troubleshooting over a range of electrical systems. You will also be involved in research, data interpretation, sketching and report compilations. You may have the opportunity to attend project meetings, field visits and contribute towards improvement initiatives under guidance.
Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with good academic standing. You must have basic knowledge of electrical system design, CAD software and other related tools, ability and willingness to learn and solve problems, good communication, team-work mentality and attention to detail. Awareness of the Dutch Electrical Codes and engineering best-practices is an advantage. Fluency in English is required.
