Job Description

The Education / Teaching Assistant will be an integral part of the academic team, supporting in-class learning by assisting teachers with lesson execution, delivering tailored education to individual or groups of students, and maintaining a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. Responsibilities also include the organization of educational materials, records management, and facilitating interactive learning activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the teaching staff to plan, execute, and manage lessons.
  • Provide individualized instruction to students requiring special attention due to learning difficulties or exceptional capabilities.
  • Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to teachers for evaluation.
  • Ensure the classroom environment is safe, respectful, and conducive to learning.
  • Assist in school events, staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, etc.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Education Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An understanding of and dedication to inclusive education practices.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Residency in Zaragoza or willing to relocate.
