Job Description

As a Furniture Making Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn and experience different facets of furniture design, production, and quality assurance. You will work directly with our experienced makers and assist in the design, crafting, and finishing of our furniture pieces. Your tasks will include crafting individual pieces, assembly, and finishing, maintaining tools, and providing support for other production activities. You will receive on-the-job training and gain practical experience in furniture design and production.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assisting in the design and production of unique furniture pieces
• Maintaining and handling tools and machinery
• Assisting in prototype assembly, finishing and quality checks
• Collaborating with our team on project concepts and execution
• Keeping the workspace clean and organized

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate is a driven and diligent individual with a passion for furniture making and craftsmanship. You should be currently enrolled in a Furniture Making, Industrial Design, Carpentry, or related program. Prior experience in woodworking or furniture design is desirable, but not a requirement. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
