The French Teaching Assistant will be instrumental in organizing French language courses, preparing lesson plans, and creating a conducive learning environment in the classroom. The role also involves evaluating students' performances, providing constructive feedback, and counseling students regarding their progress. You may also be required to collaborate with the main French instructor and other staff memebrs to plan educational events, field trips or guest lectures to augment students' learning experiences.
To qualify for this position, you should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in French, Education, or a related field. Experience in teaching French as a second language and a deep understanding of French culture are desired. The ideal candidate is expected to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high level of patience, and an engaging teaching style. A proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not a requirement.
