Tasks Description

  • Assist lead teachers in preparing lesson plans and instructional materials.
  • Support classroom activities by providing individualized attention to students with varying learning needs.
  • Facilitate small group and one-on-one tutoring sessions to help students grasp challenging concepts.
  • Monitor student progress and behavior, implementing strategies to improve classroom dynamics.
  • Help in maintaining a safe and positive learning environment, ensuring that all students feel valued and respected.
  • Assist with the organization and supervision of extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to reinforce educational goals and address individual student needs.
  • Conduct administrative tasks such as grading assignments, keeping records, and preparing reports.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in an educational setting, preferable as a teaching assistant.
  • Strong comprehension of educational practices and child development.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Proficient in using educational technology and computer applications.
